Thank you for considering to adopt a rescued dog. This will be an extremely rewarding experience. If you choose to adopt a TTR dog, you will feel the joy of building a relationship with a new companion, as well as making a significant contribution to the rescue effort. As an adopter you are the final part of the rescue process and should take great pride in knowing that your choice has enabled a dog to live without ever having to suffer the fear and loneliness of abandonment again.

How many times in life, if any, do you have the opportunity to be a hero? By adopting a rescued dog you will be a hero to that dog. You will be rewarded for your commitment with a faithful companion who will give a lifetime of appreciation and loyalty.

dog readsBefore completing the application, please review the adoption process and the adoption contract to make sure that you understand all of the terms and conditions. If acceptable, then answer the following questions as accurately as possible and send. This application may seem lengthy and the questions intrusive, but please be assured that your privacy will be respected. The only purpose is to find the best possible home for each TTR dog, and the best dog for each adopter. TTR wants to make a successful match and for this to be a wonderful and permanent experience for you and the dog.

Please copy and paste the following application to this e-mail link: kathy@tinytreasuresrescue.com, or send as an attachment in a word document. If you do not get a response to your e-mail within several days, please write again (and make sure to put something relevant in the subject line). Every e-mail receives a response. Unfortunately due to excessive SPAM, sometimes important mail gets deleted accidentally as JUNK.

If you have difficulty sending this application, you can print it out and mail to TTR. Please contact TTR and you will be given the address.

If you would like an application to be mailed to you, please contact TTR. You must provide your full name, address, apartment #, City, State, and Zip code.

Notice to Potential Adopters

The time and effort that a potential adopter takes in completing the application and traveling to meet a dog is greatly appreciated.

At TTR we take our responsibility very seriously, not only for the dogs, but also for the potential adopters. We spend a considerable amount of time evaluating each dog's behavior, getting to know his/her good qualities and short-comings. With each placement we use our experience and judgment and seriously reflect on the best course of action before making a decision.

When we are fortunate enough to have more than one wonderful home to choose from, we feel badly about the possibility of having to disappoint anyone. It is our utmost desire for all parties concerned to be happy with the adoption. A failed placement is stressful and upsetting for everyone, including the dog. Our goal is to give our dogs the best chance for success.
